Jail Statistics
The total cost of boarding inmates in other county
jails for the month of June was $134,180.00. The average total daily inmate
population was 76. The average daily population in-house was 26.1, the average
daily population boarded out was 49.87. The highest daily population was 84 and
the lowest daily population was 69. The cost of transporting boarded
out inmates to other county facilities was
$5,762.18.
Medicaid Update
Herkimer County's weekly local share for Medicaid for the week ending May 15, 2013 is $263,802. Herkimer County's 2013 year to date local share total for Medicaid is $5,258,526.
